Introduction:
The theme of the exhibition is “The Brilliance of Olympic and Sportswear Innovation”. The latest development of science and technology innovation on sportswear will be illustrated by exhibiting 15 sets of high-performance sportswear designed by Prof. Yi Li’s research team, which are funded by the Innovation and Technology Commission through The Hong Kong Research Institute of Textiles and Apparel. The sportswear has been designed and developed for enhancing the performance of Hong Kong elite athletes in training and competitions from Olympic 2008, East Asia Game 2009 to Olympic 2012. It will bring excellent opportunities to those who are interested in the fashion culture of Olympic Games, and would like to know more about the science and technology behind the design innovations of high performance sportswear.
